Be On Guard — Mark 13 calls believers to vigilant faith in as we wait for the Lord’s return. Jesus redirects us from speculation about signs of end times to steadfast endurance, gospel courage, spiritual alertness, and hope in His return. In a world of turmoil, opposition, and deception, we stand firm, awake, faithful, and confident in Christ’s sovereign promise that He will indeed return.
A sermon delivered by Pastor Joseph Heng, based on the Gospel of Mark chapter 13.

Do You Still Not Understand?
Sunday Feb 08, 2026
Sunday Feb 08, 2026
Despite witnessing Jesus, miracles, the disciples remained focussed on their physical needs, failing to grasp his true identity and mission. Jesus’ diagnosis of their spiritual blindness shows that it was due to the evil which originated from within us, not from external sources. This internal evil is a greater oppression than external enemies, resulting in Jesus having to go to the Cross, sacrificing himself to pay for our sins and to set us free from the evil within us, replacing our evil hearts with hearts that seek to glorify God.
