Is There Real Hope?

Israel had many evil kings and Manasseh the one who broke the camel's back. He dashed all hope for Israel to walk right with God again. In God's Sovereignty, God prepared Josiah 300 years before he was born. He was a good king but it came too late to turn God's anger away.  Why God did not send Josiah earlier? What hope do we have that God will keep His promise of an eternal king as exile is just round the corner. Pastor Joe Heng preaches from 2 Kings 21-23.

An Incomparable King?

2 Kings 18-20 explores if Hezekiah would be the perfect and faithful King God has promised to David, who would trust God and deliver his people. However we see Hezekiah’s faith falters, and only Jesus the Son of David trusts God fully. Pastor Sern Khoon preaches.

Be Careful Who You Follow

Children often follow their parents and friends. The consequences of following others can be good or bad. What then were the consequences of who God's people follow? Listen to the sermon by Pastor Roger Chia on 2 Kings 17 to find that out.

God’s Steadfast Love for the Remnants of Israel

2 Kings 4 & 5 showed us our God who will watch over those who remain faithful to God. If God will relentlessly pursue a wayward nation to turn back how much more will He will go all out to hear the cry of His faithful children. God's mercy also goes beyond Israel. A pagan army Commander of Syria has his health restored and spiritually transformed because of a God-fearing servant girl he captured from his conquest. Indeed nothing can stop the flow of God's steadfast love and mercy. Pastro Joe Heng preaches.

From Death to Hope… From Hope to Faith, or Fear?

As we turn to Mk 16, the gloomy scene of the death of the Lord Jesus turns to one of hope, where we see Jesus resurrected by God in fulfilment of what God had promised Jesus and what Jesus had promised his disciples. Yet, strange enough, this scene is met by one of fear rather than faith. The question for us is: as we are reminded of Jesus’ resurrection this Easter, is our response one of faith (and hope), or one of fear? Pastor Edmund Fong preaches.

00:0000:00

Jesus Was Dead

00:0000:00

When God Abandoned His Son

No one could've died a lonelier death than Jesus when He was abandoned by all. Yet, when God abandoned His son, it gave access, reconciliation, life to us. Pastor Adrin Muñoz preaches from Mark 15:33-47.

How Not to Crown a King

Pastor Chris Chia preaches from Mark 15:1-32 on the heartbreaking but life-saving last moments of the Lord Jesus Christ.

00:0000:00

Kill the King

The crucifixion of Jesus as King on the cross is both a divine imperative and an expression of dark and deep human depravity. Mark 15 shows us, how King Jesus was dishonoured and eventually killed. Pastor Jeffrey Quek preaches.

00:0000:00

Betrayed & Abandoned

The last hours leading to the cross were full of emotions and actions. Jesus resisted the temptation to abandon the cross by going to the Father in agonising prayers for the cup to be removed from Him, but not Jesus’ will be fulfilled but the will of His Heavenly Father. Alone in these last hours, Jesus headed to the cross. Pastor Joe Heng preaches from Mark 14:53-72.

Jesus, Gethsemane & Us

Pastor Chris Chia preaches from Mark 14:32-72 on the final and most sorrowful moment of Jesus at the Gethsemane.
