Seeing Jesus Clearly And Following After Him

The passage shows the difficulty of seeing Jesus clearly and following after him, mainly due to our expectations of him. We struggle in particular to see that the path to Jesus’ glory takes him through suffering, humiliation, and death. In this culture of success and comfort, this is a hard message to accept. Unplug our ears and open our eyes, Lord Jesus!
