Both John the Baptist and the Lord Jesus preached repentance. John Sung strongly preached repentance. I see parallels between the fruit of repentance seen in the ministry of John Sung and the fruit of repentance called for by John the Baptist. For both, repentance is concrete, practical, specific, related to one’s daily vocation and daily life and relationships. I suspect most of us need to take repentance more seriously. Far more seriously for some of us!
